Dr.-Ing. Olaf Enge-Rosenblatt

Group Leader Data Analysis Systems

Olaf Enge-Rosenblatt studied automation engineering at the Chemnitz University of Technology until 1986. In the meantime, he worked at the Institute for Mechatronics e.V. in Chemnitz as a research assistant mainly in the field of modeling mechatronic systems. Since 2005 he has been at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, Institute Division Development of Adaptive Systems EAS in Dresden. There he was initially employed as a research assistant. Since 2007 he has been a group leader, and since 2015 he has headed the Data Analysis Systems group.He was and is entrusted with the management of numerous scientific and industrial projects in the fields of condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, energy and resource efficiency, Big Data and artificial intelligence. Since 2017, he has also been conducting training courses on predictive maintenance, data-based quality monitoring, fundamentals of artificial intelligence, introduction of AI methods in production, and AI in maintenance.
